Abbie Cornish was born in 1982. Jack Gilpin starred in Adventureland, (2009) while Ann McDonough starred as The Mothman Prophecies and other movies. Betty Gilpin chose to act because her parents supported and loved her. Fordham College became her choice for college, as it allowed her to develop and refine the skills she required to be a professional actor. Gilpin began her acting career off-Broadway as she was auditioning for TV and film roles. Gilpin was cast as NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent 2001-2011 and then small part on Ghost Town (2008), and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin was able to land a few TV guest spots over the next few years until she was able to get her first break in 2013 when she was offered the role of a regular on Nurse Jackie. In the role of she played Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared in 34 episodes in the show before Nurse Jackie concluded its run in June 2015. Gilpin was a part of True Story (2015) the following year.
